The pace of play can be slow sometimes, but overall a nice place to play. The course plays, somewhat, long and can be kind of challenging. You can't beat the price.

This is one of the worst 18 hole courses I have ever played. It's never in good condition, the layout/course design is uninteresting and ugly. The only thing this course has gone for it is the fact that the Charleston, WV area does not have very many golf courses. The course is not necessarily easy, though, as it does tend to play rather long.

Well, this course is just awful. It's in such bad shape that the first-timers who drive out there--because they don't know how bad it is--complain vociferously. In retaliation, the staff are abusive. It's so bad that the county parks director had to investigate the abuse by the staff!
